Our Mission
The Foothills Historical Society and Museum are dedicated to identifying, collecting, and sharing of the history of Buckley and the surrounding White River/Carbon River Corridor.
Our Vision
Foothills Historical Society envisions a community-focused Heritage Center and interpretive museum:
to provide public access collections, exhibits, education programs
to professionally protect archives, collections, and artifacts
to provide a venue for workshops, programs, staff, and public education
Our Values
The Foothills Historical Society and Museum value the diversity and culture of all peoples who have lived on the plateau and along the White and Carbon Rivers. We acknowledge and value the contributions of the native people, pioneers, settlers, and immigrants who have made history here.
